Do I have to pay for your services?

No. Services are free to all job seekers! 

Do you keep a portion of what I make?

No. We are focused on getting you the best possible pay rate for a given position. We charge our clients a service fee in addition to your pay rate.

How long must I work before I can get hired by that company directly?

It depends. Becoming a full-time employee varies by client and your individual performance. Your Recruiter is your best resource and will work with you to find the best fit for your individual situation.

How long do job assignments last?

The length of your assignment is based on the needs of our clients, and whether the position is temporary, temp-to-hire or a direct hire. During your interview, our Recruiters will discuss which type of employment opportunity is right for you.

Who do I work for? Locate Staffing or the company you place me with?

Locate Staffing is always your employer regardless of which client you work for. Your Locate Staffing Recruiter is your contact for all work assignments or employment issues.

Do you have positions available where I work directly with the company you place me with?

Yes. We offer our clients the ability to hire our associates full-time. This is considered a direct hire opportunity.

If I don’t accept a position offered to me, will you call me again?

We understand that not every position offered to you is going to meet your needs. However, we will consult with you to set reasonable expectations about the kinds of jobs that are available, within the context of your goals and experience.

Do you offer coaching prior to my interview with your clients?

Yes. Our Recruiters will do everything they can to set you up for success. We understand that the best candidates are not always the best interviewees and recognize the important of being well prepared.

What happens if I am not happy with my position?

Call your Recruiter! Our focus is finding the right fit for you.

How do I get a job?

You can apply online, stop in or call any one of our branch offices. We will start the interview process and you will be working in no time!

How often should I contact your office?

Communication is key. We recommend a weekly call to inform our Recruiters that you are still actively seeking work, or if anything has changed in your job search. This enables our Recruiters to modify their strategies to fit your job seeking needs.

How can I get to the top of your call list?

Call your Recruiter often! Let them know if anything has changed in your job search. Remember communication is key!

When should I submit my timecard?

All timecards must be turned in by 12:00 NOON, Monday morning in order to be paid on Friday of the same week.

When do I get paid?

Payday is Friday of the week you submit your properly filled-in timecard (if Friday is a holiday, then payday will be Thursday, the day prior). For instance, if you start an assignment on Thursday, you will need to turn in your timecard no later than noon the following Monday. You will receive your first paycheck on the following Friday, and every Friday thereafter, as-long-as you work on an assignment at one of our client companies. It is YOUR responsibility to submit your hours on Monday by noon in order for you to get paid on Friday.

Do I have to call you when my assignment ends?

Yes. We want to know whenever anything changes in your employment situation. This ensures that we can effectively help you find another position.

What should I do if my job duties are different than those that were described to me?

Please notify your Locate Staffing Recruiter immediately, especially if safety is a concern

What is the policy if I'm unable to report to work or will be in late?

If for any reason you must be late or absent from your assignment, notify Locate Staffing as soon as possible. Depending on your assignment, you may also need to contact our client. This allows Locate Staffing to meet our customer’s needs by sending a replacement.

What should I do if I am injured while on assignment?

Call your Recruiter immediately! You are employed by Locate Staffing therefore we must be notified immediately so that we can make sure you are given care and attention at the proper medical facility.
